Afdalsoft Inc. (the “Company”) handles the personal information it receives through this website (www.afdalsoft.co.kr) as follows, under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. The Company’s products (Afdal ERP and Bazaar Mart) have their own privacy policies.

1. What we process and why

Enquiries: the name, email address and message you send to the company email (enquiry@afdalsoft.co.kr), and anything else you choose to include — used to answer you and keep a record.

Job applications: what you include in the application or CV you email to us (name, contact details, education, experience and so on) — used to decide on hiring and contact you.

This website has no forms or sign-up, and uses no cookies or other tools that collect information automatically. We do not need resident registration numbers or sensitive information such as health or beliefs; please do not include them.

2. How long we keep it

Enquiries: kept for 1 year(s) after we have answered, then destroyed.

Job applications: destroyed without delay once a hiring decision has been made. Documents of people we hire are kept separately as employment records. If you ask for your documents back, we return them.

Where another law requires us to keep information, we keep it for that period.

3. Sharing with others

We do not give your personal information to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

4. Processing by others and transfer abroad

We use the following companies to receive and keep company email. While email travels, it passes through their facilities abroad.

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — receiving and forwarding email sent to company addresses / Google LLC (USA) — email storage (Gmail) / Amazon Web Services, Inc. (USA, Seoul region) — sending email from the Company

Information: the full content of the email. When and how: over the network each time email is sent or received. Kept for: the periods in section 2. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, please contact us by phone or post (we may then be unable to reply by email).

5. How we destroy it

When the keeping period ends we destroy the information without delay: electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered, and paper is shredded or burned.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop processing it (Personal Information Protection Act, Articles 35 to 37). Contact the privacy officer below by email, phone or post and we will act without delay. A legal representative or someone you authorise may also ask.

7. How we keep it safe

Only the staff who handle email can see it; access is protected by passwords and two-step verification, connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and access is logged.
